HOW IT WORKS
Round 1 will have up to 10 heats/different challenges all doing the same design problem but with a few fun differences.
Those who advance will go to Round 2 with up to 5 heats/different challenges again doing the same design problem with a few fun differences.
The final round will then happen for our top performers who will all compete against each other for the ultimate win!
PRIZES
Every participant who submits an accepted submission will receive a 2020 Design Month t-shirt
Round 1 advancers will earn $25 and Design Month points
Round 2 advancers will earn $50 and Design Month points
All round 3 submitters will earn $100 plus the grand prize winner will earn major Design Month points.
All first-time submitters will earn $25.

ALL NEW BRACKET CHALLENGE
This year for design month, we are going to run a new type of virtual design tournament (similar to what we ran during TCO19). We will host a bracket-style single-elimination tournament. Only 64 designers will be allowed to enter the challenge! We will have a qualifying “seed” round to place the designers into the tournament. The tournament will be a series of (30 or 60 min) rounds, and the final four will win points, which will help them on the design month leaderboard. Who will be our Design Tournament Champion?

HOW THE POINTS WORK
For Design Month this year, we are offering points for challenge participation, content creation and other acitivities. All points will count up to a leaderboard and the top placed person will win a trip to TCO.
